Angular contact bearing series

What is Angular contact bearing?

The line between the steel ball and the contact point of the inner and outer rings of the contact ball bearing is at an Angle to the radial direction. The contact Angle is generally divided into 15°, 30° and 40°, which are respectively represented by the letters C, A and B. UIB specially produces such bearings with a contact Angle of 25°, which are represented by A5.

Angular contact ball bearings mainly bear large unidirectional axial load, the greater the contact Angle, the greater the load capacity. Cage material is steel plate, brass or engineering plastic, forming method is stamping or turning, depending on the bearing form or use conditions are different. Other types include combination angular contact ball bearings, double row angular contact ball bearings and four point contact ball bearings.
Angular contact ball bearings can bear both radial and axial loads. Can work at higher rotation speed. The larger the contact Angle, the higher the axial carrying capacity. High precision and high speed bearings usually take 15 degrees of contact Angle. Under axial force, the contact Angle will increase. Single row angular contact ball bearing can only bear axial load in one direction, when bearing radial load, it will cause additional axial force. And only limit the axial displacement of the shaft or housing in one direction. If it is installed in pairs, the outer rings of a pair of bearings are relative, that is, the wide end faces the wide end face and the narrow end faces the narrow end face. This avoids causing additional axial forces and allows the shaft or housing to be confined to axial clearance in both directions.
Because the raceway of its inner and outer rings can have relative displacement on the horizontal axis, angular contact ball bearings can bear radial load and axial load at the same time — combined load (single row angular contact ball bearings can only bear single direction axial load, so they are usually installed in pairs). Cages are made of brass, synthetic resin, etc., which are differentiated according to the bearing form and service conditions

What types angular contact bearing?

Type 7000C (∝=15°), type 7000AC (∝=25°) and type 7000B(∝=40°) the lock mouth of this kind of bearing is on the outer ring, generally the inner and outer rings can not be separated, and can withstand the radial and axial load and axial load in one direction. The ability to bear axial load is determined by the contact Angle. If the contact Angle is large, the ability to bear axial load is high. The bearing can limit the axial displacement of the shaft or housing in one direction.
